Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Tendr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tendr is a business management platform that allows small businesses and service providers to create, send, and manage professional quotes, invoices, and receipts. The Service is provided on a freemium basis with free and paid (Pro) tiers.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One person or business may not maintain more than one free account. Your business type (trade/category) and business URL slug are set during sign-up and cannot be changed afterwards. Each account is tied to a single business type and unique URL.

4. Free and Pro Plans

Free Plan: Includes up to 3 quotes, 3 invoices, and 3 receipts total. Documents include a Tendr watermark. PDF downloads, link sharing, and email sharing are not available on the Free plan.

Pro Plan: Includes unlimited quotes, invoices, and receipts. No watermark, PDF downloads, link sharing, email sharing, and WhatsApp sharing enabled.

Pricing: The Pro plan costs ₦2,000 per 30 days. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Payments are processed by Paystack. Each payment grants 30 days of Pro access from the date of payment. There are no recurring subscriptions — each renewal is a separate one-time payment. If you choose not to renew, your Pro features remain active until the end of your current 30-day period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service after payment, contact us at support@tendr.ng and we will work to resolve it or provide a credit.

6. Sessions and Security

For your security, you will be automatically logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and must not share your account with others. We may send you occasional emails about your account activity, including service updates and re-engagement reminders if you have not logged in for an extended period.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on Tendr (quotes, invoices, receipts, business information, logos). You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit this content as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your documents.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Create fraudulent quotes, invoices, or receipts
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits or security measures
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the platform

9. Limitation of Liability

Tendr is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
